Callie (in back) and Roscoe (you see his butt) inspect the new arrival. (Dec. 23, 2000) |

Night 1: Tahssy is settling in after we had to capture her and carry her inside. She had never been inside a building. |
|
Night 2: Tahssy is in George's lap getting a belly rub. |

Tahssy Update October 21, 2001 Tahssy walks around with a perpetual smile (top right picture). Every gesture she makes towards us seems to say "Thank You, I am so happy!" She is very loving, independent, head strong and sweet. Okay, so she's a thief - we've learned to put up everything that's dear to us... shoes especially! Every night when she crawls under my bed and sticks out her head (Like a horse in a stall), she says good night by licking my hand profusely, and every night I say out loud "Thank God for bringing Tahssy to us." And I mean it. She's our Christmas Angel. | Tahssy Update March 13, 2004

Tahssy (Guamanian for "Beach") was on her way to the pound, because a co-worker was leaving the state.
I picked her up at his house, where she lived in a muddy backyard, with no fresh water and lo(no)-quality corn-based kibble. She had never been inside a building, and did not know what to do with a belly-rub, or scratch behind the ear.
Perfect target for continuous spoiling! Merry Christmas to all of us! :)
