Only when you wear glasses can you see the world through doggie kisses.
All of our canine companions are found or pound animals. Only Sheba is not a real rescue... well... She came from a neighbor who was going to drown the puppies they could not get rid of.... so I guess that's where a saga of rescue started. At first we said "no more than two dogs." Then there was room for a third dog, but no more!... Well... what were we supposed to do with the fourth, who was almost blind? Take her to the pound? There were some others inbetween, but they are no longer with us. Then the fifth one walked into our lives during the holidays - she was lonely and skinny. The sixth one I found was supposed to go to the no kill shelter after we put some meat on his bones and had given him all the needed shots - or we were going to find a good home for him on our own, which we did in the end - by the second day: Our own. But now the house is too small for us humans, and the city demands a kennel license at 7 dogs and up, so six is our limit, SERIOUSLY! | |||
